About Our Project
Social emotional skills are skills that can be overshadowed by cognitive skills, but are extremely important for happy and healthy children and societies free from polarization and discrimination. These skills are related to the ability of a person to connect with himself, listen to his feelings, understand and control, as well as to be able to listen to others, understand and have a dialogue. Therefore, they actually play a critical role in the formation of healthy societies. With our project; they will improve their communication and decision-making abilities in the environments of their daily lives.
Aims:
1- Students will develop an understanding of differences. They will adopt an open mind.
2- Students will develop their competencies in the digital world. He will become aware of the negativity.
3. Students will design and implement solutions to the identified problem through group work.
4- Students will develop their correct decision-making abilities by using reasoning abilities.

December - January: Empathy in The Classroom
Students portray emotions with imogies they have designed themselves.
Students organize video animation activities related to situations that occur in the classroom.

Informative activities related to the digital world are held with the students.

Creating a concept map for how they act in digital environments

. Students are shown animations about bullying types (physical bullying, verbal bullying and social relational bullying). And talk about with students.
Students are divided into groups in their class and draw comix with one of the 3 different types of bullying and exhibit it to their friends.

Şehit Erkan Kendirci Primary School 2-F class students and their parents participated in the pre-project survey activities of the Well-being At School eTwinning Project between 14-17 November 2023. The questionnaire was prepared and applied with Google doc programme. Students and parents expressed their opinions before the project.

Project Logo Works
Şehit Erkan Kendirci İlkokulu 2-F grade students participated in the logo event of our class for the Well-being At School eTwinning Project between November 20-21, 2023. Students have designed logos for our project. Then, the students voted on the logos that will represent our class among the designed logos. The result of the vote is Talha T. the logo designed by was chosen first.
Şehit Erkan Kendirci Primary School 2-F class students participated in the project logo voting activity for the Well-being At School eTwinning Project on December 4, 2023. Students from 8 schools from 5 countries participated in the voting to determine the project logo among the logos.
Empathy In The Classroom
Şehit Erkan Kendirci İlkokulu 2-F class students participated in the activity of designing imoji in the Imoji Maker tool for the Well-being At School eTwinning Project on December 5, 2023.
On 11 December 2023, 2-F class students of Şehit Erkan Kendirci Primary School participated in the drama activity named ‘Our Emotions at School’ for the Well-being At School eTwinning Project. Students designed a drama about the emotion of fear among the emotions they experience at school and prepared 2 questions about the play.

Şehit Erkan Kendirci İlkokulu 2-F öğrencileri ;6 Şubat 2024 tarihinde Well-being At School eTwinning Projesi etkinlikleri kapsaminda; Guvenli internet konusunu işlediler. Öğrenciler öğretmenlerinin sunumunu dinledi. Daha sonra Konuyla ilgili animasyonlar izledi. Ögrenciler resimler yapip, sınıf panosunu düzenledi.

Is it so Difficult to Decide?
Between 11-13 March 2024, within the scope of the Well-being At School eTwinning Project; Şehit Erkan Kendirci Primary School 2-F class students studied the subject of ‘Bullying’. Teacher Zeynep made a presentation to the students about the types of bullying. After the presentation, the students were divided into 3 groups and designed cartoons about physical bullying, verbal bullying and social bullying. The teacher introduced the Pixton tool to the students. The students then designed cartoons about bullying and their solutions on the Pixton tool. The designed cartoons were exhibited on the school board.

Between 14-15 March 2024, within the scope of Well-being At School eTwinning Project activities; Kübra M. and Çağlar P. from Şehit Erkan Kendirci Primary School 2-F class participated in the cartoon book activity with mixed country team students. Kübra and Çağlar completed the chapter on social bullying using the Pixton tool.

Students Webinar-2
Here is a video of our second webinars, that happened on May 23rd and 24th. The students were very happy to participate. First, they created the comics on the bullying topic, and they chose the best one for the common e book. Then, they prepared the questions linked to the comics situation. All classes had gone through the whole book, learned about bullying and answered the questions. We finally organized the webinars, where the students met again, and played together the Kahoot quiz on that topic. It was really fun, they loved it.
End of Survey
