About Our Project
About the project
This is a school -year long project. It is dedicated to a grup of 6-7 year olds. it involves English language learning, basic knowledge about nature and seasons and coding. Each month students will get tasks to be done. Project partners will create taskas for each other. teachers will be using coding matts, ICT, internet applications. The project will be evaluated in May
AIMS
- Students will learn computational thinking
- Studnets learn English language
- Students get to know the seasonal/ festival customs from the partners countries
- Students learn coding at the basic level
-Students learn about partners' contries nature
PROJECT SCHEDULE SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER
1. Class introduction in a form of a film, photo
2. QR codes with seasons' vocabulary
3. Decode the words- partners preapare coding worksheets containing autumn vocabulary
4. A poem- half in English half in mother tongue- a prespentation or a film
5. Autumn- welcome postcards created in paint
6- Code Week Event 'Robot Dance'

TURKEY
ENGLISH LESSON
In state schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of Turkey, English education in second grade is started. At the beginning of the year meeting of our school; For first grade; 2 hours of Free Activities (Serbest Etkinlikler) Lesson were planned as an introduction to English language education.
NUMBERS EARNINGS
1 Students will be able to recognize number from 1 to 10.
2 Students will be able to count numbers from 1 to 10.
COLOURS EARNINGS
1 Students will be able to identify colours of things.
2 Students will be able to name the colours of things.
SEASONS EARNINGS
1 Students will be able to recognize the names of the seasons.
2 Students will be able to recognize and identify clothes types related to different seasons.
WEATHER CONDITION
1 Students will be able to recognize different weather types.
2 Students will be able to name the weather types.
FRUIT EARNING
1 Students will be able to recognize fruit.
2 Students will be able to say the names of fruit.
ANİMALS EARNINGS
1 Students will be able to identify animals of things.
2 Students will be able to name the animals of things.
ROBOTIC CODİNG
In state schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of Turkey, Robotic Coding education in fifth grade is started. At the beginning of the year meeting of our school; For first grade; 2 hours of Free Activities (Serbest Etkinlikler) Lesson were planned as an introduction to Robotik Coding education.
EARNINGS
1 - solve a given problem using the appropriate steps. Analyze a given problem. The instruction takes and returns.
2 - use the concepts of condition. Create a game and share it with friends using the necessary code blocks.
It follows the instructions and performs sequential, logical operations. Defines the concept of pixels.
