Let's Celebrate With A Healty Food
eTwinning Project
Let`s encourage our students to take the responsibility for their life. Help them find out what kind of food is healthy. They have to get know why and how they can lead a very healthy life or other healthy customs and eat healthy food. They can convince the parents, the grandparents or the neighbors to keep health, enjoy a long life and even party with fruit and vegetables instead of sweets and fizzy drinks.
ABOUT PROJECT
AIMS
The main goal of this project is to promote a healthy lifestyle among children and to help students understand and distribute the information about healthy food like fruit and vegetables. The students will make some fruit salad or another dishes with vegetables. They will learn to work together. They will not only get to know the differences between cultures but also they will come to terms with the similarities about the healthy food or activity in many country of Europe. They will get know what they can eat instead of product with sugar and fat.
Work Process
October:
- Partners introduce their country, their city and their school and themself
- Partners will create project logo
- Before project all of partners( teacher , students, parents) will make our project surveys
November:
- Children watch video on benefits of fruits
- Children will prepare fruit poster (about which groves seasons)
- Children will prepare fruit salad.
- The students will create an advertising slogan
December:
- family or gardener interviews,
- National poems about fruits
- celebrate national fuit and vegetables
January:
- Children watch video on benefits of vegetable
- Children will prepare vegetable poster (about which groves seasons)
- Children will prepare vegetable dishes.
Fabruary:
- Sing song about fruits and vegetables (all of children)
- healthy kitchen recipes,
March:
- write health life story (common product)
- End of project all of partners( teacher , students, parents) will make our project surveys
EXPECTED RESULTS
The students will create an advertising slogan about an increase in the consumption of fruit and vegetables in the daily diet. Then these ideas will be gather together in the join book or poster. They could stage a performance to put on a show with their favorite national poems about vegetables or fruit. They will prepare the dishes at party and presentation about healthy food.

1. ENTRY:
Our eTwinning project ‘Let's Celebrate with a health Food eTwinning project’, which was realized with the participation of 7 school teachers and students from 4 different countries, was completed in the 2019-2020 academic year for 92 primary school students (Turkey) 57 To primary school students (Poland), 65 To elementary school students (Spain) 56 To Primary school students (România) were given ‘healthy eating training’.
The schools participating in the project consist of activities related to the benefits of fruits and vegetables and healthy drinks to the students participating in healthy eating education; raising awareness about healthy eating and choosing healthy foods.
2. AIM:
Today, especially young children prefer fizzy drinks and food with plenty of additives. We know that these foods are harmful to the body even though they are attractive with advertisements. However, the benefits of healthy food and the consumption of these foods and drinks are easy to adopt as a way of life. In order to achieve this, children must provide this habit at an early age.
The aim of this study is to raise awareness of the benefits of healthy eating to the students through various activities. With this training, students get to know and learn the benefits of nutrition closely and make healthy eating choices in daily life to help students regulate their lifestyles.
3. METHOD
The students who participated in the project were shown videos about healthy eating. Students designed posters about the seasons in which vegetables and fruits are grown. Students designed the school board on the benefits of vegetables and fruits. The students were given serminer by a dietitian doctor and vegetable and fruit grower. Students learned about healthy eating; poetry and story books.
A mixed country team of different countries created the song video. Students from different countries came together and designed a variety of products to raise awareness about healthy eating.
During the activities, students were only mentored within their needs and their products were evaluated. With the evaluations made, the healthy eating education process was closely followed.
4. FİNDİNGS AND İNTERPRETATİONS
From 4 countries 260 according to data from primary school students, the students who participated in the activities in the draft of the project learned the benefits of vegetables and fruits in the activities they participated in. They prepared and consumed healthy plates for themselves at home and at school.
With these activities, it was observed that the health food preferences of the students increased in the correct proportion. Through the activities, they revealed that students are adopting a healthy food-sensitive lifestyle.
5. RESULTS
It was observed that students discovered the problems encountered when consuming unhealthy foods through the healthy eating education they attended. Also when students learn healthy food
They have been observed to learn to create plates of healthy food for themselves.
Healthy eating education will be given during the primary school period and will give students the opportunity to develop their awareness in this area.
It has been revealed that students are more easily transferred to their lifestyles by transferring them to practice rather than theory as thought for these trainings. .
